Many leading 20th century artists enjoyed designing their own exhibition posters, often in the form of original lithographs printed by some of the great Parisian print ateliers. These remarkable artist-designed exhibition posters were the result of a unique collaboration between artist, gallery and printmaker, with artists being closely involved in not just the reproduction of their artwork but in the graphic design and layout of the poster itself. As such this unique exhibition offers a very different and rewarding insight into the artist’s mind, as a designer as well as a creator.

In association with Goldmark Gallery, this exhibition is not to be missed.

From Picasso to Hockney: Original Art Posters from the Goldmark Gallery has been organised and funded by the Friends of the Heseltine Gallery.
