In the Spotlight

In 2019 we celebrated the local talent that surrounded our gallery by inviting artists to submit their work for the 2019 South Northants & North Oxfordshire Open Selected Exhibition. We were overwhelmed by the quality and wide variety of works that filled the walls and it was a hard task to select just two worthy winners to receive the 2D and 3D awards.

Those artists are ‘In the Spotlight’ as we showcase their work in a special exhibition, celebrating their achievement.

Rachel Cronin, winner of the 2D award, uses dynamic colours and expressive marks to create her haunting, abstracted landscape paintings whereas Sue Clayton, winner of the 3D award, is influenced by the art of China, Japan and the Natural world.
